Spindle Repair – Okuma LB25

An Okuma LB25 lathe which formed part of an important process for our customer suffered bearing failure and siezed up in operation. The spindle was removed onsite, cleaned, inspected & measured. the bearing journels were still in excelent condition so new bearings were fitted, and spacers replaced to suit. The machine was rebuilt and passed the CNC Repair (UK) Ltd vibration analysis testing with a total of 1 week downtime for the customer.
